Carter, DeLuca, Farrell & Schmidt, LLP is proud to officially welcome Mr. Hennessey to our team of attorneys. He is a valuable asset to the firm and we look forward to a long and successful relationship with him.

Brian Hennessey has joined Carter DeLuca as counsel to the firm.  Mr. Hennessey has practiced intellectual property law for more than fifteen years in New York City and California’s Silicon Valley.  He provides strategic counseling for both start-ups and established companies, and advises clients in a wide variety of matters relating to patents.  Mr. Hennessey prepares and prosecutes domestic, international and foreign national patent applications, provides opinions, and performs due diligence.

Mr. Hennessey’s undergraduate engineering studies provided exposure to a wide range of technologies, specializing in electrical and mechanical systems.  He gained valuable technical experience working with an oilfield services company, where he specialized in geo-location technology. His interests in law, business, and engineering led him to a career as a patent attorney.
