RUSSELL S. SALERNO, B.S., Computer Science, magna cum laude, S.U.N.Y. College at Brockport, 1982; J.D., magna cum laude, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center of Touro College, 2003. Admitted to the Courts of the State of New York, the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, and registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Formerly associated with General Instruments Government Systems Division (1982-1985), Grumman Aerospace Corporation (1985-1987), Fortunoff Information Services (1987-2003), Pennie & Edmonds LLP (2002-2003); Jones Day (2004- 2005); and established and operated the Law Offices of Russell S. Salerno (2005-2007). Member of the New York State Bar Association, the New York Intellectual Property Law Association, and the American Intellectual Property Law Association. Experienced in all phases of patent prosecution. Fields of technology include computer hardware and software; software development; hardware abstraction and virtualization; wired and wireless telecommunication networks; electronic countermeasures; video display devices and image processing; mechanical and electromechanical devices; medical devices including laparoscopic medical devices and stereotactic radiosurgical systems; and musical instruments.
