THEODOSIOS (THEO) KOUNTOTSIS, B.S., Electrical Engineering, magna cum laude, Western New England College, 1999; M.S., Electrical Engineering, cum laude, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, 2002; J.D., University of Detroit Mercy School of Law, 2008. Admitted to the Courts of the States of Connecticut (2008) and New York (2009). Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (2003). Previously associated as a Scientific Advisor/Patent Agent with Frommer Lawrence & Haug LLP (2002-2005) and Cantor Colburn LLP (2005-2007). Before joining the legal profession, Mr. Kountotsis was an electrical engineer for General Dynamics working on Trident submarine technology (1999-2002). Member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the American Bar Association. Experienced in all phases of patent prosecution. Fields of technology include telecommunications, networking, control systems, circuits, optics, speech recognition, robotics, electrical arts, electromechanical arts, medical devices, computer software, and semiconductors. Fluent in Greek.
